Services

We have strived to produce a desirable line in the Red Angus breed that exhibits the following traits:

  • Ease of fleshing,
  • Good feet and bone structure,
  • Thickness of top,
  • Wide, flat rump structure
  • Depth of rib, carrying back to a good hind quarter showing a lot of depth of twist.

Calving ease has been foremost in our mind as we have worked to accomplish the above traits.

We have been fortunate to accomplish this through the use of several different cow and bull lines by testing various blood lines within the breed (including AI).

  • These are great examples of our Spring Bulls that we sold for the 2008 year.   We run a spring born and fall born herd so we can be a better supplier of cattle for both ends of the registered breeding market.

This is one of the young Advancer R-121 sons we are using in our breeding program currently.   Note the length of hip and flatness of rump.

These are good herd cow representatives of our base stock.  Some of them being  Pieper Division Dams and  others being  Beckton/Canyon daughters.  These new calves are out of a son of Cherokee Canyon 4912.  We have cow/calf pairs and rebred cow/calf pairs available for sale off the farm as well.  These have been rebred to select bulls.
